SORPRESA PROJECT
(Atacama Region, Chile – 100% Torino)
Sorpresa - High Grade VMS Target
VOLCANIC MASSIVE SULFIDE TARGET
Surface evidence indicates the possible presence of a Volcanic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposit
Mineral rights are owned 100% by Torino, ~4,600ha with no royalty
EXPLORATION HISTORY
The property has evidence of small scale artisanal mining of barite, silver and copper but the project has never been subjected to modern exploration methods and has never been drilled
FAVOURABLE GEOLOGY
Surface geology exhibits distinctive VMS characteristics
Laterally continuous ferruginous chert and banded barite are interpreted to be distal to a possible VMS deposit under cover
Rhyodacite dome with anomalous gold and copper is also a key component which confirms the potential of the target
PLANNED GEOPHYSICS TO TARGET OREBODY
Surface geochemical work for target vectoring
Geophysical surveys aimed at discovery of a medium-sized high-grade polymetallic deposit
WELL-LOCATED
Moderate elevation (1600m), sealed road to Copiapo and coast, no environmental or social issues, ability to work year round
Copper mineralization in ferruginous chert
Historic barite-silver mines
