ZONDA PROJECT

San Juan Province, Argentina

Zonda Porphyry Copper-Gold Project

SIGNIFICANT SHALLOW DRILLING

  • Zonda has >5,000m of shallow historical drilling - 73% of holes ended in mineralisation

  • Torino’s planned drill program will test the deeper copper gold potential of the Zonda porphyry for higher primary grade at depth (as encountered at similar deposits in the region)

  • Located in mining-friendly San Juan Province, Argentina at moderate elevation

  • Torino has an option over 100% of the project subject to a 2% royalty which can be purchased for an agreed amount

OUTCROPPING MINERALISATION

  • Mineralisation at Zonda is outcropping with significant copper and gold grades from surface (e.g. 0m to 50.3m @ 0.54% copper, 0.26 g/t gold)

  • Broad spaced drilling has defined near surface copper mineralization, but large areas remain untested

POTENTIAL FOR LOW-COST MINING OPERATION

  • Because the mineralisation at Zonda occurs from surface, the supergene target could provide a low stripping ratio for rapid project cost recovery

  • Future work will be aimed at (a) defining a copper resource suitable for an open-pittable low-cost solvent leach starter operation and (b) drilling beneath the shallow holes to test the full depth potential of the mineralised porphyry system.

Current Status / Exploration Work

CURRENT PROJECT STATUS

  • The environmental report for Zonda (Informe de Impacto Ambiental - IIA) has been lodged with San Juan authorities and Torino is now awaiting environmental approval (Declaración de Impacto Ambiental - DIA).

  • Torino is undertaking the reprocessing of existing geophysics, is conducting new surface mapping and sampling activities and is preparing to conduct additional geophysics on the project.

PREVIOUS EXPLORATION WORK

  • 16,000 line-km district wide airborne magnetic survey.

  • Mapping of lithologies and alteration.

  • Ground magnetics, IP chargeability and resistivity geophysics.

  • Drilling 18 RC holes for 2610.5m and 12 diamond holes for 2571.8m. Total of 30 holes for 5182.3m (Average depth 172.7m).

  • Chip channel sampling over outcrops. 295 samples.

  • Petrology on RC and core samples.
