DRILLING THE ZONDA COPPER-GOLD PORPHYRY IN SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA
Torino’s Zonda Project, San Juan, Argentina
Torino Metals is advancing the 100% owned Zonda copper-gold porphyry in San Juan, Argentina, with drilling planned for 2026.
Of the more than 5,000m of historical shallow drilling, 73% of holes end in mineralisation. Drill testing will target higher primary grade at depth.
Average depth of historical drilling was approximately 180m, but similar nearby systems show sulphide mineralisation extending well over 1,000m Torino is planning a drill program of 1,200m holes to test the depth potential of the porphyry system.
Torino executives have led discoveries on the high grade Escondida gold-silver vein deposit at Cerro Moro (+2-million-ounce gold equivalent resource), and the massive Caspiche gold-copper porphyry deposit in Chile.
