DRILLING THE ZONDA COPPER-GOLD PORPHYRY IN SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA

Torino’s Zonda Project, San Juan, Argentina

Torino Metals is advancing the Zonda copper-gold porphyry project in which it is earning a 100% interest. Drilling is planned in 2025 subject to final permitting, funding and contractor availability. San Juan is a province in Argentina with numerous mines and mineral deposits and is attracting significant interest from international explorers

ZONDA

Zonda is an outcropping copper-gold porphyry in San Juan Province, Argentina. Of the more than 5,000m of historical shallow drilling, 73% of holes end in mineralisation.  Drill testing will target higher primary grade at depth.

Average depth of historical drilling was approximately 180m, but similar nearby systems show sulphide mineralisation extending well over 1,000m Torino is planning a drill program of 1,200m holes to test the depth potential of the porphyry system.

Torino executives have led discoveries on the high grade Escondida gold-silver vein deposit at Cerro Moro (+2-million-ounce gold equivalent resource), and the massive Caspiche gold-copper porphyry deposit in Chile.
